Anyway back to the main topic, at first they wouldn't let me get a phone because I didn't have enough ID so we went to the alien regirstration office to apply for my 'gaijin card.' The card itself takes 2 weeks to be made however they gave me a piece of paper to give to the phone people.
Also by the looks of it everyone here is on a phone plan because there were only 6 phones in the whole store that were conpatible with pre-payed cards, but I think I got a pretty cool one.

Its the softbank (phone company) commercial. I think they're trying to sell a student plan which you pay over the course of 3 years. Honestly its too weird to me to understand either, however I just think its really funny.
